The Counsellor, Kids Only is responsible for the direct supervision of Kids Only attendees, ensuring that programming is delivered to a consistently high standard of service. Key Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct supervision of assigned groups of children, ensuring their safety, security, and overall well-being at all times
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate programming through enthusiasm, showmanship, presentation, and entertainment
Lead a variety of recreational, educational, and cultural programs, activities, and excursions for children
Engagement children in all aspects of the programming, including fitness, arts and crafts, games, and other experiences
Provide exceptional guest service through professional and positive interactions with parents and children
Communicate any concerns, incidents, or challenges to the Assistant Manager, Kids Only or another relevant member of management
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Kids Only Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a similar environment, such as a summer camp, after-school program, childcare setting, or other youth-focused environment
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with individuals of all ages
Energetic, ethusiastic, and engaging personality, with a genuine interest in working with children
