About the Position We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dependable Martial Arts Instructor to lead classes in Hooksett, NH. The ideal candidate is a skilled martial artist who enjoys teaching and working with students. The instructor will help students develop their martial arts skills, confidence, fitness, discipline, and character while maintaining a safe, positive, and structured training environment. Responsibilities Teach two 1-hour martial arts classes per week following the Skillz Program Demonstrate proper techniques, forms, drills, and conditioning exercises. Provide instruction appropriate to students' ages and skill levels. Correct student technique and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive, respectful, and disciplined class environment. Help students work toward their training and rank goals. Serve as a positive role model for students. Follow established safety procedures and class guidelines. Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes.

Qualifications Required:

Demonstrated proficiency in the martial art being taught. Ability to safely demonstrate martial arts techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and punctual. Reliable transportation to Hooksett, NH. Be able to pass background check Skilled in working with a broad spectrum of children including but not limited to neurodivergence CPR Certified or Willing to obtain certification

Preferred:

Previous martial arts teaching or coaching experience. Experience working with children. Instructor certification or additional martial arts credentials. Black Belt in a recognized martial art but not required. Candidates who live outside Hooksett are welcome to apply if they are willing to reliably drive to Hooksett twice per week.
