We prioritize safety, skill development, and fun in a supportive environment that encourages growth and teamwork. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Martial Arts Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support martial arts instruction, assist with sports activities, and help create a positive, disciplined environment for children participating in our after-school programs. Your enthusiasm for sports, physical education, and working with youth will be vital to your success. Duties Assist lead instructors in delivering martial arts classes such as Karate, Judo, or other disciplines, ensuring proper technique and safety. Support sports-specific training sessions including soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, and other physical activities. Help manage behavior and maintain a disciplined yet fun environment for children during activities. Supervise children during class transitions, breaks, and outdoor play to ensure safety at all times. Support team leadership by helping organize equipment, and facilitate a positive learning atmosphere. Requirements Background in martial arts such as Karate or Judo with experience teaching physical education or sports coaching preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and manage classroom behavior. Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and team members clearly and professionally. Experience working with youth is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while fostering teamwork among staff and students.
