  • $20 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Youth recreational activities facilitation High school diploma or GED Cleaning Teaching Camp experience Full Job Description The Montclair Community Pre-k has openings for Extended Care Assistant Teachers from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday
  • Friday beginning in late August.
The Extended Care program includes outdoor recess time, fun planned activities, snacktime, and enrichment activities. The Extended Care Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing daily activities, reading books to the group, supervising outdoor time, preparing and cleaning up from snack and communicating with families at pick-up. Flexibility and a willingness to move around/work in different aftercare classrooms is required. If you have experience as a camp counselor, aftercare teacher, daycare teacher, and/or babysitter and have a high school diploma, we hope you will apply to join our school! To apply for this position you MUST be available Monday
  • Friday from 2:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM. This is a 20 hours per week position at $18
  • 20 per hour, depending upon experience and education, with the potential for additional substitute hours.
MCPK Extended Care Teachers are a critical part of our teaching team and we have promoted many Extended Care Teachers to Associate and Lead Teachers.
