Job description: Key Responsibilities Plan and lead Taekwondo classes for all levels Teach proper techniques, forms, sparring fundamentals and self-defense Ensure a safe and respectful class environment at all times Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Adapt instruction to suit different age groups and skill levels Promote values such as discipline, respect and confidence Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training area and equipment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Required Qualifications Black Belt in Taekwondo Prior experience teaching or assisting with Taekwondo classes Strong knowledge of Taekwondo techniques, forms, and training practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and manage students in a group setting Commitment to safety, professionalism, and positive student development Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching children and teens Tournament or competitive Taekwondo experience Experience with curriculum planning or belt testing preparation Taekwondo Black Belt Physical Requirements Ability to demonstrate Taekwondo movements and techniques Ability to stand, move, and instruct for extended periods Ability to safely supervise physical activity in a training environment Work Environment This role is based in a martial arts studio, school, or community recreation setting and may require evening or weekend availability.
