The Gravity Vault Poughkeepsie is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Instructors to join our team. As an Instructor, you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding customer experience. Your responsibilities will include teaching climbers of all skill levels, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and helping maintain the high standards of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers at the front desk, using our POS system to manage check-ins and sales. Provide information and support for memberships, programs, retail purchases and general inquiries both in person and over the phone. Lead private belay sessions, youth and adult classes, birthday parties and seasonal camp programs. Monitor and uphold safety standards throughout the facility for both staff and guests. Assist with daily cleaning and operational procedures, including opening and closing duties. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Evening, weekend and Holiday availability is required Strong communication and customer service skills. Climbing experience is a plus but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided. Experience working with children is strongly preferred. The minimum availability

• for the Instructor position is as follows: At least one weekday closing shift (5 pm to 10:30 pm) with the ability to work a minimum of a 4 hour shift One full weekend day (9 am to 8:30 pm) within which you may be scheduled for up to an 8 hour shift.

Compensation & Benefits:

Part time position Hourly pay range: $16.00/hour - $17.47/hour - dependent on experience. Complimentary multi-facility Gravity Vault membership after introductory period.
