Chess Instructor Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund - 3.2 Cincinnati, OH Job Details Contract $25 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with children Life skills building Strategic thinking Working with adult populations Teaching life skills Full Job Description We are looking for reliable Instructors that want to make a difference in the lives of kids by teaching chess with The Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund's Chess in Schools. We are active in over 50 schools in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and are hiring additional instructors to meet the demand of waitlisted schools. Chess instills important life skills that help children grow into successful adults. Our carefully curated curriculum develops critical and strategic thinking, understanding of cause and effect, planning for different outcomes, patience and focus, self esteem and good sportsmanship. Be part of making a difference for kids in our community! Chess knowledge is a must, but we recruit all levels of players. Must be able to commit to your scheduled instruction time for the school year, have a reliable vehicle/transportation and be good with children. We offer schedule flexibility - even opportunities for 1-2 hours a week or more based on applicant availability. Hourly pay plus mileage.
