This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where safety, education, and enthusiasm are at the forefront. As a Horseback Riding Coach, you will lead riding lessons, ensure rider safety, and foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages growth and enjoyment. Your expertise will help riders achieve their goals while promoting responsible horsemanship and teamwork. Responsibilities Conduct engaging horseback riding lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginner to advanced Ensure the safety of all riders by enforcing proper riding techniques and safety protocols Maintain the well-being of horses through daily care, grooming, and feeding routines Develop customized lesson plans that incorporate sports-specific training instruction and behavioral management techniques Communicate effectively with clients and parents to provide progress updates and address concerns Oversee equipment checks, tack adjustments, and arena safety inspections before each session Lead group activities such as riding clinics, summer camps, or special events that promote teamwork and sportsmanship Skills Proven experience working with children in educational or recreational settings Strong background in sports coaching experience, including soccer coaching, basketball, or martial arts such as Karate or Judo Lifeguard experience with certification in First Aid and CPR; AED operation knowledge preferred Familiarity with health club or gym environments that promote physical activity and fitness training Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team leadership Experience teaching physical education or working with students on behavior management strategies Knowledge of climbing or swimming activities as complementary skills for overall athletic development Ability to demonstrate sports-specific training instruction with enthusiasm and clarity Join us to make a meaningful impact by teaching riding skills while fostering confidence, discipline, and joy in every rider.
