Job Description
Ohio Gymnastics Institute is looking for energetic, dependable, and caring individuals to join our preschool gymnastics program. Our instructors help young children build coordination, confidence, strength, and a love of movement in a fun and encouraging environment. Gymnastics experience is helpful but not required. We provide training and lesson plans. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants a rewarding, active job. Responsibilities Lead fun, structured gymnastics classes for preschool-aged children Teach basic gymnastics skills, body awareness, balance, and coordination Follow OGI's lesson plans and skill progressions Keep children engaged while maintaining a safe and organized class Set up and adjust equipment for class activities Participate in staff training and continuing education What We're Looking For Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable being playful with young children Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts Patient and able to give clear, age-appropriate instructions Confident managing a small group of active children Willing to learn gymnastics skills, progressions, and safe spotting techniques Able to work as part of a team and accept coaching and feedback Previous experience in childcare, teaching, coaching, dance, cheerleading, or gymnastics is a plus Must be able to move equipment and remain active throughout each class Ohio Gymnastics Institute has served families in the Youngstown area for more than 40 years.
