Snapology Instructor Part-Time | Snapology of Fayetteville Position Summary Snapology of Fayetteville is looking for an energetic, dependable, and creative STEM Instructor to help inspire the next generation of innovators. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, has a passion for STEM education, and wants to help build a growing local business from the ground up. As a Lead Instructor, you will independently lead classes, camps, workshops, birthday parties, field trips, and community events using Snapology's proven curriculum. You'll create engaging learning experiences using LEGO® bricks, robotics, engineering, coding, and other hands-on activities while helping children develop creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. As our business grows, this position also offers opportunities to help train new instructors, contribute to marketing initiatives, and become a key member of our leadership team. Responsibilities Program Instruction Lead groups of up to 20 students through Snapology curriculum-based activities. Teach after-school programs, camps, workshops, birthday parties, field trips, and special events. Create a fun, engaging, and structured classroom environment. Encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and STEM learning. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different age groups and learning styles. Maintain positive classroom management and ensure student safety at all times. Program Preparation Review curriculum and lesson plans prior to each program. Ensure all class materials, kits, and equipment are prepared before each event. Help maintain and organize Snapology classroom materials and Class Packs. Assist with setup and cleanup before and after programs. Leadership & Training Serve as a mentor for Assistant Instructors. Help train new instructors through classroom observations, mock classes, and co-teaching. Provide feedback on curriculum, classroom management, and teaching techniques. Help maintain consistent program quality across all instructors. Marketing & Community Engagement Capture photos and short videos during programs (following company and partner policies). Assist with creating authentic social media content that highlights our programs and community partnerships. Help identify engaging stories, student projects, and classroom moments to showcase Snapology. Represent Snapology professionally at schools, libraries, recreation centers, community events, and other partner locations. Assist with promotional events and demonstrations as needed. General Responsibilities Communicate professionally with parents and community partners. Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training. Promote future Snapology programs when appropriate. Represent Snapology with enthusiasm, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Qualifications Experience Working with children in education, camps, childcare, recreation, or youth enrichment preferred. Education, STEM, Early Childhood, Communications, Marketing, or related majors are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Reliable, organized, and punctual. Comfortable leading groups of children independently. Willingness to complete Snapology training and ongoing professional development. Must successfully pass a background check prior to employment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
