Part-Time Schedule:
Thursdays, 5:00-8:00pm + occasional planning hours as needed Reports to: Operations Manager About Us We are located downtown near UTC & Erlanger Hospital. The Momentum Network is a Christ-centered nonprofit empowering pregnant students and single mothers to complete college and build strong futures for their children. Our Little Scholars Night Owl Program provides quality evening childcare on Thursday nights so our Scholar Moms can fully engage in our leadership development programming — making every person on our kids team part of a two-generation transformation. About the Role We're looking for an experienced, energetic Early Childhood professional to serve as one of two Co-Lead Teachers for our Thursday evening childcare program. You'll co-lead a fun, structured environment serving approximately 20 children, mostly ages 1-5, alongside a team that typically includes another lead teacher, at least two staff members, and additional volunteers. This isn't just childcare — it's mission-critical work. When the kids are thriving, moms can focus. That's the model. What You'll Do Co-lead classroom environment alongside a second lead teacher, maintaining structure, engagement, and a nurturing atmosphere Directly supervise and guide (often college-age) staff and volunteers during program nights Plan and prepare age-appropriate activities (occasional planning hours outside of Thursday evenings as needed) Maintain safety, ratios, and quality standards throughout the evening Communicate clearly with program staff about children's needs, observations, and logistics Help recruit and develop kids team members as the program grows Lead or support faith-based activities in alignment with TMN's Christ-centered values About You You have a genuine heart for kids and you bring both warmth and confidence to a classroom. You're at least 18 years old You have hands-on experience managing a classroom of young children (ages 1-5) You're comfortable directing and coaching college students and volunteers — not just working alongside them You hold at least a high school diploma or HiSET equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus A CDA or willingness to obtain one is a plus You're reliable, prepared, and don't need much hand-holding once you know the plan You are comfortable planning and leading age-appropriate lessons about Jesus Christ in alignment with TMN's faith values Compensation Compensation commensurate with experience.
