Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Taekwondo Instructor with a Black Belt certification to join our dynamic team! Whether you're looking for a full-time role or part-time opportunities, this position offers a chance to inspire students of all ages through martial arts training. As a Taekwondo Instructor, you will lead engaging classes, foster discipline and confidence, and promote healthy physical activity in a supportive environment. Your expertise will help students develop their skills, improve their fitness, and achieve their personal goals while enjoying a fun and motivating atmosphere. Duties Lead Taekwondo classes for students of various ages and skill levels, ensuring safe and effective training sessions Develop personalized training plans that focus on technique, discipline, and physical fitness Demonstrate proper martial arts techniques, stances, forms, sparring, and self-defense skills Maintain a positive and encouraging environment that promotes respect, behavior management, and teamwork Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement Assist in organizing martial arts events, competitions, and belt testing ceremonies Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during classes and activities Collaborate with other sports coaches or instructors to integrate cross-training activities such as swimming, gymnastics, or cheerleading when appropriate Qualifications Black Belt certification in Taekwondo from an accredited martial arts organization is required Prior experience teaching martial arts or sports coaching preferred Knowledge of additional physical activities such as Karate, Judo, or Climbing is a plus Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds Ability to manage behavior effectively and create an inclusive learning environment Familiarity with health clubs or gyms is advantageous Passion for teaching physical education and promoting healthy lifestyles Join us to make a positive impact through martial arts!
