This role involves coaching students of various ages and skill levels, maintaining a safe and clean facility, and providing excellent customer service to students and their families. Key ResponsibilitiesClasses
  • Set up the gym for each class, ensuring all equipment is age-appropriate and meets safety guidelines.
  • Enforce all gym policies, including dress code, behavioral expectations, injury protocols, and food/drink rules.
  • Lead dynamic and static warm-ups (approximately 15 minutes) to prepare students for activity.
  • Coach groups of up to 8 students, following lesson plans provided by the lead instructor.
  • Keep students safe, motivated, and challenged throughout each session.
  • Assess student skill levels using the USA Ninja Challenge assessment standards and update skill records in the assessment system.
  • Communicate positively with parents, providing feedback on student progress and achievements. Facility
  • Complete all nightly and weekly cleaning tasks as outlined in the cleaning checklist.
  • Secure the facility at the end of each day, including turning off HVAC and lights and locking all doors. Parties & Events
  • Set up the gym and lobby for parties, ensuring safety and appropriate arrangements for the age and size of the group.
  • Greet guests, ensure all waivers are signed, and provide a welcoming environment.
  • Lead warm-ups and facilitate party activities, following the established party structure.
  • Assist families during lobby time (cake and presents), providing support as needed. Qualifications
  • Looking for a coach to help on Tuesday evenings & Thursday noon & evening and Saturday's afternoon for birthday parties.
  • Experience working with children in a coaching, teaching, or recreational setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of fitness, gymnastics, or ninja-style obstacle training is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to enforce rules and maintain a safe environment.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move gym equipment (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to demonstrate physical activities and participate in class exercises.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and actively engage with students for extended periods.
Working Conditions Work is performed in a gym environment with exposure to noise and physical activity.
