Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Taekwondo and have experience working with students of various ages. This role involves teaching the martial arts of Taekwondo, professional attitude in customer service, growth-oriented mindset, and promoting health, fitness, and good character among participants.

Qualifications:

Kukkiwon Certified 2nd Degree or Higher Passion for teaching and leading students Strong communication and leadership skills Legal residency or work authorization in the U.S. Willingness to commit long-term and grow professionally Strongly prefer prior experience teaching Taekwondo in the U.S. or Korea Competition experience in Taekwondo Respectful and supportive of team members Able to work flexible work hours: generally weekdays afternoons/evenings and Saturdays Pass a criminal background check and drug screening (including nicotine) Have reliable transportation with clear driving record Name, contact information, and any social media account

School & Major (if applicable) Professional work experience and number of years Open to opportunities for career and marital arts progression Duties - Kukkiwon Certified 2nd Degree or Higher Implement established engaging lesson plans for Taekwondo classes. Provide instruction and coaching to students in a safe and supportive manner. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment. Organize and lead group activities that promote teamwork and sportsmanship. Collaborate with Excel team members to plan events, competitions, or workshops that enhance student engagement in Taekwondo. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during activities to protect students' well-being. Skills - Kukkiwon Certified 2nd Degree or Higher Proven experience teaching children and safety certifications is preferred. Strong background in coaching youth with an emphasis on teaching techniques for Taekwondo. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to engage students of different age groups effectively. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs on the mats.
