Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Taekwondo Assistant Instructor / Dojang Assistant to join our team. If you love martial arts, enjoy mentoring young students, and want to work in a positive, high-energy environment, this is a great opportunity! This role focuses on assisting our Masters and Head Instructors during evening Taekwondo classes.
Key Responsibilities Classroom & Drill Assistance:
Assist the Head Master during Taekwondo classes (lining up students, holding target pads, guiding basic techniques, and keeping students focused).
Student Engagement:
Encouraging, motivating, and helping young martial artists follow class instructions safely and enthusiastically.
Class Logistics:
Help set up and clear training equipment (pads, shields, mats) between class sessions.
Safety & Supervision:
Assist in maintaining a safe, disciplined, and respectful environment on the training floor.
Qualifications & Requirements Martial Arts Experience:
Taekwondo experience (or experience in other traditional martial arts) is preferred, but a strong athletic/coaching background with a willingness to learn is welcome. Great energy, confidence, and a positive attitude with young children. Strong communication skills and reliable punctuality. Must pass a standard background check. Reliable transportation to Centreville, VA.

4:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Monday through
Friday Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
