Weekend Tennis Youth Instructor Overtime Athletics - 4.1 Falls Church, VA Job Details Part-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teaching Full Job Description $20-$30/hr | Part-Time | Flexible Schedule We run youth tennis programs for kids ages 5-14 at rec centers and schools across Fairfax County, Loudoun, Arlington, and Herndon. Tennis is one of our highest-demand programs — we need instructors who can make it accessible, fun, and high-energy for complete beginners through developing players. You'll run your own class. We give you the curriculum — you bring the energy and execution. What you'll do: Lead after-school and weekend tennis classes at local rec centers and schools Deliver OTA curriculum for assigned age group (we train you on it) Teach fundamentals — grip, footwork, rallying, scoring — in a fun, game-based format Manage your class independently — setup, instruction, dismissal Ensure every kid is safely dismissed before leaving What we're looking for: Tennis background — played competitively, coached, or instructed at any level Experience working with kids (coaching, camps, rec — all counts) Ability to teach beginners without making it boring Reliable, punctual, professional Must pass background check + fingerprinting Reliable transportation to assigned sites
Pay & Schedule:
$20-$25/hr to start based on experience Up to $30/hr for returning, experienced instructors 1-4 days/week depending on your availability Weekday afternoons and/or weekends
