2 C5 Position Summary The Department of Social Work at the University of Southern Indiana, a public university in Evansville, Indiana, seeks applications for a 9-month tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in Social Work. The appointment will begin in Fall 2027. Duties/Responsibilities The Assistant Professor will be expected to teach 12 credit hours per semester, which includes undergraduate and/or graduate departmental course offerings in Social Work, in addition to advising students, engaging in scholarly activity, and providing professional, university and community service. The Social Work program is Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited. The teaching load for this position will be 4/4. Required Knowledge and Skills Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Social Work or a closely related field. ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date. Applicants must hold a master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program and a minimum of two years post masters experience.
