Behavioral Sciences Department; Liberal Arts Division; Haverhill (100 Elliott Street) or Lawrence campuses (45 Franklin Street);
MCCC/MTA DCE
Unit Position SUMMARY:
We are seeking instructors for our pool of Adjunct Faculty to teach various Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology courses on an as-needed basis for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Semesters. Successful applicants would teach 3-credit courses in Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, or Cultural Anthropology. Classes are held on NECC's Haverhill and/or Lawrence campuses. Seeking instructors for primarily day and evening face-to-face classes, which could include Early College classes. Future possibility of online or hybrid instruction exists and would require successful completion of mandatory training. A list of potential courses can be found online in the Course Catalog. RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes. Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, syllabus requirements, materials posted on the LMS, and required meetings.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in related academic discipline Experience teaching in a related academic discipline at the college level Experience using technology in instruction and assessment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Community College teaching experience Experience with online and hybrid teaching and experiential learning Bilingual (Spanish/English) Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

Additional Information:
SALARY:
$1,512.00/credit
00/credit, per credit based on DCE step, per the DCE Contract, non-benefited.
