Job Description
Sussex County Community College is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to teach as an Adjunct of Sociology for Introduction to Sociology at our satellite campus located at Delaware Valley High School in Milford, PA for the Fall 2026 semester. All instructors are responsible for teaching their assigned courses using a departmentally established course outline based on the master syllabus and assessing the course learning outcomes on the syllabus. Qualified candidates must have a master's degree from a regionally accredited institution. Prior teaching experience at the community college level is strongly preferred. The Learning Management System (LMS) that we use is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or a similar learning platform is preferred. Adjunct pay is based on $910 per credit hour. This class is scheduled for Monday evenings 6:00pm - 7:40pm beginning September 8th and concluding on December 23rd. Sussex County Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
