Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction in an in-person setting for students with diverse learning needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff. Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Foster a safe, encouraging, and productive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Current, valid Alaska teaching license and Type C certification (required; must provide documentation). Special Education certification. Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a K-12 environment. Commitment to in-person teachingremote/virtual options not available. Outstanding communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
