Hourly Virtual Special Education Teacher Elementary Homebased Services Job Description:
Provide individualized special education instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual home-based setting. Deliver services through online platforms, implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, and collaborate with families and school teams to promote student success.Key Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual special education instruction to elementary students tailored to each student's IEP goals and services Use technology effectively to engage students in a remote learning environment Track and document student progress and adjust instruction as needed Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school staff Provide a supportive and inclusive virtual learning environmentQualifications:
Valid teaching certification in special education Experience with virtual teaching platforms and technology, preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a virtual settingTerms of Employment:

For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.
