Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Alabama. Appropriate credentials and certifications to work as a Special Education Teacher. Previous experience managing a K-12 caseload is highly desirable. Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Role Highlights:

Start as soon as possible, with the contract extending through May 27th, 2027. Serve K-12 students, adapting instruction and interventions to meet individual needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in close partnership with staff and families. Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment that encourages student growth. Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to ensure student success. Maintain timely, accurate records according to school and district policies.
