Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred) Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Ability to differentiate instruction for various learning styles and abilities Strong classroom and behavior management skills Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Committed, flexible, and compassionate in supporting students academic, emotional, and social development
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique learning needs of students Deliver instruction in small group or individual settings Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and parents to support student success Maintain accurate and compliant educational records Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
