Key Qualifications:
Certification or licensure as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist (or eligibility) Prior experience working with students in educational settings preferred Strong understanding of current assistive technology and educational accommodations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement IEP goals Familiarity with sign language and/or other communication modalities used in D/HH educationPrimary Responsibilities:
Assess students needs and create tailored strategies to enhance learning access Deliver direct and consultative services in classrooms and resource settings Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement Monitor student progress and document outcomes for IEP meetings Train and advise school staff on best practices and use of assistive technology Foster a positive, inclusive environment that celebrates student growthWhat Awaits You:
