Key requirements:
Valid Special Education Certification for grades K-6 Prior experience working within special education resource settings preferred Strong classroom management and communication abilities Proven skills in developing and implementing IEPs Collaborative approach, able to work closely with staff and families Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering instruction tailored to the unique learning needs of each student Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records to support each learners development Coordinating with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion Developing and updating IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Fostering a supportive, respectful, and positive classroom culture Enjoy the fulfillment of seeing your students grow, knowing your expertise makes a real difference every day. This contract role offers the chance to work onsite at an intermediate school until May 2027, providing a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and a focused age group of third to sixth graders.
