Key Qualifications:
Current state teaching certification in Special Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field Demonstrated classroom experience working with students who have a variety of disabilities Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed for academic, behavioral, and social targets Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and compliance with all state and federal guidelines Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom climate Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and aides to support student inclusion and access
