Job Description

Teacher - Special Education Meet and instruct assigned classes, plan a program of study that meets the needs and interests of the students, and create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate, see the Job Attachment for a complete description.

Qualifications:

Valid Alabama Department of Education Teacher's Certificate, Bachelor's Degree or higher, endorsed in Special Education, multiple certifications preferred, must meet the ESSA (NCLB) Highly Qualified Criteria if applicable, and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable. Resume Valid Alabama teaching certificate or letter of completion from the university stating application for certification has been submitted to the State Department of Education Official transcript from the university with degree posted.
