Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in a dynamic educational environment on a contract basis. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students with diverse exceptionalities is preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP processes, educational assessments, and documentation requirements. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to implement evidence-based instructional strategies and differentiated teaching methods. Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to varied classroom situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other specialists to support student success. Provide direct instruction tailored to each students learning needs. Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families on student growth and objectives. Adapt curriculum and materials to meet the needs of learners with disabilities. Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing education initiatives.
