Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Certification for grades K-6 Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably working with elementary or intermediate school-aged children Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations Excellent communication and teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues and families Ability to create an inclusive, positive learning environment onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEPs for students in third through sixth grades Develop engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to diverse learning needs within the resource classroom Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed Collaborate closely with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support each students development Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Foster a positive, supportive classroom climate that helps students reach their potential This onsite contract position runs through May 2027, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and staff in a well-supported environment.
