Job Description

Special Education professionals who are passionate about making a difference in students lives are invited to take on a rewarding contract opportunity near Greensboro, AL. This full-time position serves a diverse caseload of PreK-12th grade students, offering an engaging environment to further develop your expertise and positively impact the educational journey of children with varying learning needs. Your daily work will be onsite in Montgomery, where youll collaborate within a supportive school community and be empowered by resources that foster your professional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Alabama Special Education (SPED) PreK-12 Teaching License (required) Experience working with PreK-12th grade students in a school setting Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual student requirements Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Deliver engaging instruction to small groups and individual students Collaborate with general education teachers to support classroom integration Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and district guidelines Engage in ongoing professional development and consult with the Clinical Advisory Team The position offers competitive weekly pay, plus a benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
