Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and literacy skills Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among toddlers Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions with positive reinforcement strategies Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Incorporate early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs or developmental delays Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child observations and incidents Facilitate activities that promote physical development, including basic motor skills and movement exercises Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that integrate Montessori principles and other educational frameworks Maintain up-to-date certifications in first aid, CPR, and child welfare standards Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is essential Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in preschool teaching Experience developing curriculum tailored to toddlers' developmental stages and individual needs Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for young children Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children from diverse backgrounds Knowledge of standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood education is a plus Experience implementing physical education activities or motor skill development programs is desirable Certification in early intervention or special education is preferred but not required Hands-on experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational approaches is advantageous

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
