9659747-35094 Job Description Bring your expertise in special education to a dynamic intermediate school environment and make a direct, positive impact on students in grades 3 through 6. This rewarding contract position, spanning from ASAP through May 27, 2027, offers the chance to support a small group of students in a resource setting, providing tailored instruction and fostering academic growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SPED Certification for grades K-6 is required Experience working with elementary and intermediate-age students preferred Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff Adaptability and creativity in delivering instruction to meet diverse learning needs Skilled in maintaining detailed documentation and student progress records
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver instructional support to a caseload of 10-12 students in a resource classroom Create and execute engaging lesson plans addressing individual educational goals Monitor and document students progress toward IEP objectives Foster an inclusive and supportive environment, promoting social and academic success Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure coordinated support Communicate effectively with families and guardians regarding student performance and strategies for continued growth Manage classroom routines and maintain a safe, positive learning space Step into a vital role where your dedication truly matters.
