RBT / Behavior Technician - Full Time Help Children Learn, Grow, and Become More Independent Autism Behavior & Cognitive Development Serving Mobile County & Baldwin County Make a Difference in a Child's Life Are you patient, caring, dependable, and enjoy working with children? Are you looking for meaningful work where you can see the difference you make each day? You do not need previous ABA experience to begin a career with us. We provide training and ongoing support to help you learn how to work one-on-one with children with autism and other developmental needs. As a Behavior Technician, you will help children strengthen communication, social, learning, play, and everyday independence skills. Your work may include helping a child learn to communicate what they want, participate in group activities, follow routines, play with others, complete daily tasks, or become more independent. Every child is different, and you will work with an individualized plan created specifically for the child you are supporting. Why Join Our Team? Work one-on-one with children during scheduled therapy sessions Help children practice communication, social, play, learning, and daily living skills Turn everyday activities and play into opportunities for learning Encourage children as they learn new skills and become more independent Use positive encouragement and rewards to help motivate learning Follow step-by-step teaching plans created by a supervising clinician Help children practice skills in different activities and situations Support children when they experience challenges with communication, routines, transitions, or behavior Record simple information about the child's progress during each session Share observations and progress with your supervisors Work closely with other
Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
