Qualifications & Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, IEPs, and behavioral plans Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs Deliver instruction in small groups or individualized settings, utilizing creative and adaptable teaching strategies Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure full inclusion and support of students Regularly communicate progress and strategies with parents and caregivers Foster a supportive, structured, and purpose-driven classroom culture Accurately document student progress, behavior reports, and IEP goal attainment
