Responsibilities Lead engaging activities that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development during the closing hours of the day Implement curriculum development strategies tailored to early childhood education standards, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Support children with special needs through individualized attention and early intervention practices Oversee classroom routines such as snack time, cleanup, and transition activities to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain detailed documentation of children's progress, behavior, and any incidents in compliance with childcare regulations Collaborate with colleagues to plan lesson plans that incorporate age-appropriate learning experiences and standardized testing preparation when applicable Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and lesson planning skills Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices.
