Qualifications and Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Knowledge and application of SPED inclusion best practices. Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills. Ability to adapt instruction to meet varied learning styles and needs. Passion for working with students in inclusive classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide special education services within general education classrooms (push-in model). Collaborate with general education teachers to modify lessons and implement IEP accommodations. Support positive student behavior and classroom engagement. Monitor and document student progress toward individualized goals. Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student achievements and needs. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning sessions. Create a welcoming, supportive educational space that encourages student growth.
