KidSpace Childcare Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Full-Time Waddler Teacher to join our team! Our waddler classroom is a fun and busy place where children are learning, exploring, and becoming more independent every day. What You'll Do As a Waddler Teacher, you will: Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for young children Supervise children closely and maintain a safe classroom at all times Follow daily routines including meals, diapering, naps, and transitions Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences Encourage language, motor, social, emotional, and cognitive development Engage children through play, music, movement, sensory activities, books, and hands-on experiences Build positive relationships with children and their families Communicate with parents about their child's day, accomplishments, and needs Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Work cooperatively with co-teachers and the entire KidSpace team Follow all KidSpace policies, health and safety procedures, and Arkansas childcare regulations Attend staff meetings and complete required training and professional development Help other classrooms when needed What We're Looking For The right person will be: Reliable and dependable Loving, patient, and nurturing Energetic and able to keep up with young children Comfortable getting on the floor, playing, singing, reading, and engaging with children A positive team player Professional and respectful when communicating with families and coworkers Willing to learn and grow Someone who takes pride in providing excellent care Previous childcare experience is preferred , including daycare, preschool, nursery, nannying, babysitting, or other experience working with young children. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Must be able to pass a required background check Must meet Arkansas childcare licensing requirements Must be dependable and able to maintain regular attendance CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; training can be obtained after hire Must be able to safely perform the physical responsibilities of working with young children, including lifting and carrying children when necessary Schedule Monday-Friday Consistent 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM We value consistency for both our staff and our children, so your schedule will be a consistent 8-hour shift within our operating hours. Pay & Benefits $11.50-$13.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
