Job Description
Position Overview A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy and educational services is seeking multiple Full-Time Special Education Teachers for in-person, school-based positions in Avondale, Arizona. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction, support students in achieving their IEP goals, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities Teach and support students with diverse learning needs Develop and adapt engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans Support students in achieving their IEP goals Monitor and document student progress, grades, and evaluations Maintain a positive and effective classroom environment Build strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff Collaborate with paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary team members Maintain effective classroom management and organization Qualifications Active Arizona Special Education Teacher (SPED) Certification Previous experience in special education or a related educational field Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to build positive rapport with students Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation & Benefits $44-$66/hour, commensurate with experience Full-Time, in-person school-based position Sign-On Bonus Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Low-stress, supportive classroom environment 1:5 staff-to-student ratio, with 15 students supported by 3 dedicated paraprofessionals Experienced mentors and ongoing clinical support Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities for professional growth About the Employer A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy and educational services is seeking dedicated professionals to support students through high-quality educational and therapy programs.
