Qualifications and Experience:

Valid certification as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist or Teacher Experience working with school-aged children who are deaf or hard of hearing Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred Knowledge of assistive listening devices and educational technology for hearing impairments Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school teams Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
