In this vital role, you will foster a positive classroom environment that promotes growth, confidence, and lifelong learning. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and functional life skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with varying abilities while collaborating with a dynamic team committed to educational excellence. Responsibilities Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapt instructional strategies to ensure compliance with special education laws and regulations. Utilize educational technology and learning tools to enhance engagement and facilitate understanding across subjects such as math, literacy, early childhood education, and physical education. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques for students with special needs, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral health, and developmental milestones to promote collaborative support. Experience Prior classroom experience is preferred. Knowledge of educational technology integration is preferred. Proven ability to manage classrooms effectively while implementing behavior management strategies for diverse learners. Strong communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and student advocacy are required.
Pay:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
