Working with a 5th grade caseload of 35 students, youll help create a supportive, positive environment where all learners can thrive. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional IEP meetings that may extend slightly past the standard end time.

Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching license Current IVP Fingerprint Card Experience or strong interest in special education and resource settings Ability to manage a classroom and tailor lessons for individual learning needs Effective communication skills with students, parents, and staff Dedication to supporting learners with diverse abilities

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging instruction in a resource room for 5th graders Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with other educators and families Use data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust strategies Maintain accurate records and reports Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with team members and support staff for student success
