9671167-85624 Job Description Inspire and empower young minds as a Special Education Teacher supporting middle school learners in resource math for grades 6-8. This contract opportunity is located near Patagonia, AZ and offers a fulfilling chance to make a meaningful impact on students growth and success during the school year. Youll guide and teach a caseload of 32 students, using your expertise to foster academic achievement and personal confidence. Working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, youll collaborate with fellow educators, provide individualized instruction, and help each student reach their greatest potential.

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience teaching or supporting students at the middle school level Strong knowledge of resource math curriculum, grades 6-8 Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for inclusive education and student advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging math instruction to small groups and individual students Manage a caseload of 32 middle school students, ensuring accommodations and modifications are in place Assess student progress and adapt strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for cohesive student care Communicate with families to share updates and foster a supportive learning environment Maintain up-to-date records, including IEP documentation As a part of this educational community, youll be valued for your dedication, skill, and compassion.
