Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing specialized instruction and support in a vibrant, collaborative school setting near Peoria, AZ. Multiple openings for Special Education Teachers are now available, with opportunities in behavior-based and cross-category self-contained classrooms, autism programs, special needs preschool, and resource roles. Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered with assignments from ASAP through May 2027.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Educator Certification required Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience in behavioral, cross-category, autism, or preschool special education highly desirable CPI certification preferred for behavior program roles Early Childhood and Special Education certification or experience preferred for preschool positions Strong commitment to student-centered, inclusive practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized instruction to students in self-contained and resource settings Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions tailored to students needs Foster a positive class environment that encourages growth, independence, and respect Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families and staff Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in alignment with district policies
