9659326-85383 Job Description Bring your passion for special education into a supportive school environment near Peoria, AZ, where you will make a meaningful difference for students with diverse needs. This contract opportunity offers two openingsone serving grades K-3, and the other grades 4-6providing both inclusion and targeted pull-out support. Your expertise will empower students as you collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster individual growth in a nurturing atmosphere. With manageable caseloads (up to 30 students) and a focus on inclusion, you will play a key role in helping every child reach their potential.
Qualifications:
Valid Mild/Moderate K-12 Special Education License (Moderate/Severe also accepted) Experience working with K-6 students in both inclusion and resource/pull-out settings is preferred Strong collaboration skills and commitment to individualized student support Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt instruction and behavior management strategies for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal standards Deliver instruction in both general education classrooms and small group pull-out settings Work alongside general education teachers to adapt curricula, ensuring access for all students Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed Maintain clear communication with families, support staff, and administration regarding student progress Serve as an advocate and resource for students with special needs within the school community Your schedule will follow a regular school-day pattern, working 37.5 hours per week from now through May 21st, 2027, allowing you to build strong connections over multiple years.
