Key Qualifications:

Valid Arizona teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Current IVP fingerprint clearance card required Experience creating and implementing IEPs for students Knowledge of effective instructional strategies for DHH students Strong organizational skills and ability to develop daily lesson plans Willingness to travel between school sites (mileage reimbursed) Flexibility to work across various grade levels (K-12)

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, utilizing individualized strategies and accommodations Prepare and execute daily lesson plans tailored to student needs Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to guide educational decisions Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress monitoring Adapt teaching methods to optimize learning in a variety of classroom settings This full-time, itinerant contract offers 40 hours per week and a highly competitive hourly pay rate between $40 and $44.
