Self-Contained Special Education We are partnering with a school district in Phoenix, AZ to hire a full-time Special Education Teacher for an elementary-level self-contained classroom. Position Details Full-time elementary Special Education position Primary self-contained classroom Support students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Down syndrome Life skills needs Other developmental and educational needs Work alongside classroom aides to support students Provide individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on individual needs Collaborate with aides, school staff, families, and related service providers Qualifications Appropriate Arizona Special Education teaching certification required Self-contained classroom experience preferred IEP writing experience preferred Experience working with students with ASD, Down syndrome, and/or significant support needs is a plus Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills Interested in a self-contained elementary Special Education opportunity in Phoenix?
