Job Overview:

Provide direct services and small group instruction in the special education classroom Comprehensive knowledge of the Special Education process and the legal requirements associated with IEPs and Evaluations Skilled in Arizona Career and College Ready Standards to establish IEP goals Maintain high expectations for student academic success and conduct Subscribe to the belief that students in special education should meaningfully participate in general education curriculum and receive intensive specialized instruction in order to address skill gaps Implement engaging and rigorous instruction to ensure all students master the required content Administer a variety of formal and informal assessments to identify needs, measure student growth and mastery Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, and general education teachers to ensure students success Participate actively in professional development Communicate frequently with parents Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families
