Youll help empower 28 students, guiding them toward academic growth and greater independence in a supportive environment.

What Youll Bring:

Current certification in Special Education, with preference for mild-moderate disabilities or learning disabilities Experience working with middle school students or in a resource classroom setting Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Commitment to fostering inclusion, advocacy, and differentiated instruction Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and classroom management

Your Responsibilities:

Design and adapt instructional materials tailored for students in grades 6-8, ensuring alignment with IEPs Work closely with general education teachers to facilitate an inclusive academic environment Track student progress, adjusting methods and supports as needed Communicate regularly with families regarding student performance and goals Provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support throughout the school day Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements This role follows a convenient weekday schedule from 7am to 3pm, offering a structured yet fulfilling experience where your expertise will truly make a difference.
