In this role, you will have a set schedule with two sessions

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:

the morning runs from 7:45 to 11:00, and the afternoon from 11:00 to 3:00. Wednesday is set aside for planning, ensuring you have the support and preparation time you need. The classroom currently serves a small group of students in both sessions, supported by two dedicated paraprofessionals as student numbers grow throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field Valid state teaching credential for Special Education Experience working with diverse learner populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction for AM and PM special education sessions Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and evaluation teams Participate actively in planning, assessment, and IEP meetings Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
