Category Schools - Special Education Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers skilled in telehealth and teletherapy, serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in Sanders, AZ. This role requires delivering specialized instruction and support through remote platforms, ensuring personalized educational experiences for diverse learners.
Openings include:
Elementary School:
2 positions (1 Life Skills, 1 Inclusion)
Middle School:
2 positions (1 Life Skills, 1 Inclusion)
High School:
1 position (Inclusion)
Key Duties:
Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) via teletherapy to meet academic and developmental goals. Facilitate interactive and engaging lessons tailored to students' unique needs in various special education settings. Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams. Collaborate with school staff to integrate telehealth strategies within broader educational plans. Adapt instructional materials and methods to optimize learning in online environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience with teletherapy or telehealth service delivery models. Expertise in Life Skills and Inclusion settings across different grade levels. Strong communication and technology skills to engage students remotely. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
